How to Choose Luggage Space for an Airport Transfer

A straightforward way to match passenger numbers and medium-size bags with the right vehicle category.

Passenger capacity and luggage capacity are different

A vehicle may have enough seats for a group but not enough boot space for every suitcase. Check both figures shown beside each active BZ Cars vehicle category.

Use medium-size bags as the booking reference

The public fleet and booking form describe luggage in medium-size bags. Oversized cases, sports equipment, pushchairs or several cabin bags may need more space than the headline bag count suggests.

When to consider a larger category

An estate can provide extra luggage space for a smaller group. An MPV or larger private-hire vehicle may be more suitable for families and groups, depending on the live category capacities. Executive is a service style and should not be assumed to have the largest boot.

Add useful journey notes

If the luggage is unusual, include a concise note with the booking or contact the office before travel. Do not include sensitive personal information in free-text notes.
